Edmund was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the ninth of George, Sr., and Sarah Bullock's fourteen children.  A loving sister (now passed on), who helped raise him in the Gospel, described Edmund as "a complicated boy."  Seemingly extroverted, he loved people, and laughter, and noise and excitement, but, introverted, he'd retreat to some hideaway alone to spend hours with a book, or a musical instrument (most often piano or guitar).

Edmund always loved music, particularly the music of The Bullock Brothers, and he loved worship.  He looked forward to going to church, seating himself on the front pew, and especially enjoyed prayer meetings, with the charged atmosphere of the saints kneeling and calling upon the name of Jesus.

Edmund's greatest hero has always been his father, George Bullock, Sr., whom he idolized and tried to emulate in almost every detail.  In 2015 he published a book about him titled Lessons of My Father (follow the link below).

Edmund's greatest love today is, of course, his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, followed by his adoring wife, Gisela, and his ministry (both singing and preaching).  He adores his children, and still relishes a good book (history being his favorite).

Following in his father's footsteps, who, after the age of forty, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Masters degree  in education, Edmund earned his BA in Business Management at the age of forty-nine and is currently working on a Masters degree in Legal Studies, with an eye toward a Juris Doctor degree.  A two-minute conversation with Edmund, however, will make it clear that, for him, nothing compares with the work of the Gospel.  His daily prayer is, "Father, here I am."
